At the beginning of the shower, start passing around a notebook. In it,
ask people to write some advice for the new bride. If the advice was originally written on nice stationary, you can leave it as is. If not, you may want to type it and print it on nice stationary. Before the wedding, while the bride is getting ready, present her with this. It will touch her heart and she will always be able to look back at it. Note: After she has read it, make sure to tuck it away in a safe place since the bride won't likely have a chance to take it home before she leaves for her honeymoon. It is a good idea to make a photocopy of the advice beforehand just in case.
